Will the cargo
fit the container?
The numbers to check before drawing up a loading plan: internal dimensions, door opening, capacity, tare and maximum payload.

How many units fit?
Enter the dimensions of your carton, package or pallet; we'll calculate how many fit in each container type and how many containers you need in total.
Length and width are enough. Leave height empty to count a single layer (floor positions) — ideal for pallets. Enter a weight to apply the payload limit as well.
Calculated from the internal dimensions in the table, with a 3 mm loading allowance per unit (without it, the theoretical limit of a 40' container is 25 Euro pallets). For closed types the piece must also pass through the door; for out-of-gauge cargo, write to us. Weight distribution, securing and overhanging cargo can change the result.

Using this table
- The values are typical, not binding. ISO fixes only the external dimensions and the maximum gross weight; internal dimensions and tare vary with the manufacturer and the age of the unit.
- What binds is the tare and maximum gross weight written on the container's own CSC plate. Check the plate before loading.
- Under SOLAS, declaring the verified gross mass (VGM) is the shipper's responsibility. A container with no declaration, or one whose declaration does not match, is not loaded on board.
- Capacity does not apply to flat rack and open-top types; out-of-gauge cargo needs a separate assessment.
- Ask us about equipment availability and actual dimensions before loading — we confirm them at the booking stage.
Let's talk
about your cargo.
Send the route, cargo type and deadline. On standard lanes we reply the same day with a price and a plan; on project cargo, within 48 hours.
